Ms. Mohsina is a conscientious and creative teacher who ventured into teaching the Primary Years Program right after earning her ‘Bachelors of Education’ degree. The trajectory of her teaching spans across 8 years. Over the years she has taught across elementary grades and experienced several curriculums. An amalgamation of love for teaching and learning, care for her learners and peers, and the desire to help learners evolve into responsible global problem-solvers have ornamented Ms. Mohsina’s profile as an enthusiastic educator. Her love for upgrading her teaching skills and acquiring knowledge to enhance her teaching abilities encouraged her to complete her ‘Masters of English Literature’ degree followed by the IB PYP certification course in ‘Making PYP Happen.’ She has experience in teacher training and has trained primary teachers to integrate subjects through a plethora of engagements. Her penchant for writing and drama have enabled her to play an integral role in organizing annual events and training learners for the same. Ms. Mohsina focuses on the overall development of her learners’ personalities and believes teachers are the most influential role-models in a child’s life. She has a predilection towards inquiring into a variety of pedagogies and their practical application in the classroom. Currently she is exploring Reggio Emilia’s approach, and strives to adopt the STEAM methodology in her classroom.
